Distinguished Young Women Radio Auction

The 30th Annual Distinguished Young Women Radio Auction will be held from 10:00am - 3:00pm on Saturday, January 28th, with a live broadcast on New 100.9FM and 13 WMVO. Items are listed at wmvo.com and mountvernonnews.com. The public can call (740) 397-2267 to the Radio Auction number and place bids on the items. All items have been donated for the auction, and all monies will be used for the Distinguished Young Women program.

Traditions Engraving is proud to donate a wonderful gift basket (Number 85 on the list), with products created by Traditions Engraving, valued at $140 for such a great event. Products are based on Knox County and hometown products. The beautiful woven basket contains a 13" x 5" hand painted “home” sign, 12" x 12" Mount Vernon pillow, Laser Engraved Products: 13" x 7" Ohio Proud cutting board, OHIO ornament, 4 bamboo cooking spoons, 2 key rings, and a ceramic coffee mug. Food products are sourced from local vendors and include, Ann’s Raspberry Farm Jam, Bonhamie Maple Syrup, Road Hog Willy’s BBQ Sauce.

Distinguished Young Women is a national scholarship program that inspires high school girls to develop their full, individual potential through a fun, transformative experience that culminates in a celebratory showcase of their accomplishments.
